Also the trash bin itself becomes trash at some point. Via Recycleart we stumbled upon these wicked upcycled chairs. The so-called ‘Long-Ton-Chair’ is made in Austria by Garbage Upcycling and available from 115 euros. The chairs are mostly made from a classic garbage bin for domestic trash. The seat is lined with vinyl truck sail. Basic outdoor materials are used here for indoor design furniture, which points to a widely felt fascination with regular urban design items. People just like to have a bit of the city’s lay-out in their houses.
So what can one eat in Amsterdam? While cheese, sausages, pastries, seafood, stews and meat are the “typical” traditional Dutch foods, the capital is packed with restaurants featuring everything from fine dining to international cuisine. We couldn’t believe how many new, hip restaurants had opened up. Next time we visit I’m going on a tasting junket.
Today, however, I’m presenting a couple of the weird and wonderful edibles that are special to the Netherlands:
Coins for a croquette at Febo? This fast-food favourite is still going.
Dutch pancakes come in many varieties - this one has cheese and mushrooms.
Have you been to Amsterdam? What was your favourite place to eat?
Do you like it to learn a language that your school/college don’t provided? Then is Livemocha a perfect solution!
This website is special for people who wants to learn a new language, there are no “real” teachers behind this website. When you start with a unit you can let rate your work. There are 2 different things what you can let rate by native speakers of the language what you wanna learn. Writing and Speaking are the two subject what you can let rate, the language lessons are from starter/basic to advanced and it’s really easy to learn and you can repeat the lessons soo much times if you want.
Writing – After a couple phrases what you’ve learned you will come on the writing page, on this page you need to make a few phrases about 6 persons in 6 different situations and after you have maked this you will send it to native speakers of the language and they gonna rate it with 1 – 5 stars and they gonna give you advice what you can do better next time.
Speaking - In this part you need to talk in the language what you’re learning, you need for this part a microphone and native speakers are going to rate your speaking skill. For this part you need a good microphone with a good quaility.
I am now learning Polish and after Polish I’m gonna learn French, do you gonna join Livemocha too?
For my study I need to find a job that I need to combinate with my study. Since august I’m active busy with finding a job and I still don’t have a job in a store and I’m getting sick of it because i’ve tried everything and nobody is accepting me and I don’t understand this because my CV is really good for a 17 years old kid, but otherwise I understand them too, accept too much employeers is not good.
Finding work in my own province is not succesful so I will try to find a job in Groningen, Utrecht or North-Holland.
